You are Not Alone

I could not hold back the tears! I pretended I was not crying because she was wet in her tears! How can I counsel her, encouraged her if I was also emotional! She kept weeping and asking “I don’t know why God will take them from me!” At first I did not know what to say to her! All I could say was “ we will never have all the answers that you want right now”! She had just lost her second child on January 1st, after she was just recovering from the loss of her first child who died January 2016. Sadly, those are her only children! Why will God allow me to lose everything? She asked weeping! I am a believer, I go to church, I live right and I try to be kind to people around me! Why ? Why? Kill your fear!!!

Shortly, after we got married, my mentor and I were talking one day about the need for me to have a car. I remembered he said to me “until you show God that you are ready for it, you may not have it.” I asked him, how do i show God that I was ready, he simply said to me “go and learn how to drive and when you do, you are saying that you are indeed ready for a car 🚘 “ Little did he know that I was always afraid of driving!!! One of the things  that I never thought I will be able to do was driving. I was always afraid of driving. Even when my wife and I decided to learn how to drive in 2010, she was a smarter student than I was. Our friend who was teaching us then was always saying, “your wife is doing better than you sir.” If you sincerely ask me, the only reason I was not doing well was because I was afraid. The fear of driving continued to held me captive, coupled with the fact that our friend who was teaching us how to drive suddenly died in a car crash. But ...
